Georgian mahogany artists paint box, probably Reeves

A very good artist paint box,c 1820, probably by Reeves, but lacking its label. However it has a couple of pieces within that are marked Reeves and so I feel fairly confident in the attribution.

It is in very nice condition indeed, with its lower drawer complete with original brass locking rod. Above, in the main area is a full tray with a variety of antique watercolour blocks in the labelled spaces. The contents of the drawer are later, antique, drawing instruments showing that this lovely box had a long life being used over several generations. A charming and highly collectable box.
