Lt EV Howell (B. 1871) designed, created and hand-painted models of the British Army in enough detail that they were used by museums. It seems that he started this as a hobby on his discharge from the army, circa 1920. The figures are approx 11” to 12” tall, a scale considered sufficient to show all the small detail. Each model is hand annotated to the base with the regiment, rank and date of the uniform shown. A fabulous museum quality resource.
This group from the Grenadier company, 63rd Regiment of Foot includes two in good condition and one that is less good. A grenadier (1833 uniform) and an officer (1815) are in good condition and the third figure (with drum), also 1833, shows evidence of breaks and minor losses.

I will box and post, but prefer collection as these figures are fragile
