A good 1979 22ct gold proof sovereign as supplied by The Royal Mint and still in its original case. Condition is excellent. The packaging shows a few marks of age (almost 50 years), but the coin remains as fresh as could be. I did remove it from the case for photography, and hopefully the photos reflect the superb condition .
Dealer Note: sovereigns are exempt from capital gains tax as they are legal tender. This is a good opportunity to invest in gold at a very attractive price.
