Sought after Kholui Russian Lacquer box decorated with The Kremlin

There are four villages in Russia that are renowned for the quality of their lacquer boxes, and Kholui is one of the best of them.
Here is a charming, nay delightful, little lacquered box, hand painted with incredible skill, and fully signed, with a fine image of the Kremlin to the lid, picked out in white, gold and silver. The black background shines majestically and shows off the hand painted decorative elements superbly.
It is a beautiful little box, and contains its original receipt. How these painters retain such detail at such minute scale is beyond (ham-fisted) me. Clever as well as beautiful. Lovely thing.
