This superb cherrywood French farmhouse table is in fine condition. Crafted from solid cherrywood in the 19thC, it comes with a single off-centre frieze drawer on one side of the apron and, at one end, a pull out bread-board (faced in elm).
It has a good thick top and square section tapering legs that have been re-tipped. Its colour is a particular delight, warm and inviting, and it showcases the honey-toned patina typical of antique French provincial furniture. It is a very tactile piece, offering both character and practicality as either a dining or kitchen table, and it can stand against a wall, or sit in the middle of a room where it will be admired by all who see it.
