A pair of very small French bedside cabinets

A finely made pair of antique French Kingwood and marquetry bedside cabinets styled in the Louis XV tradition, dating from circa 1930. Exceptionally compact at just 9½" x 8½" (24 x 22cms) and standing 29" (74cms) high they are ideally suited for rooms where space is at a premium.
Each features three bow-fronted drawers with intricate floral marquetry, complimented by brass knobs. The tops are subtly shaped with a raised gallery edge, and just big enough for a small lamp and a glass of water or a book, while elegant cabriole legs taper to a veneered lower shelf - ideal for additional storage.
Crafted in a warm combination of mixed woods, these compact cabinets are a rare find that combine charm, practicality, and antique elegance.
