This is a really good, strong table. It features an amazing two plank elm top of a really rich deep colour, the kind that only time can create. Raised on traditional joinery of square profile tapering legs, it speaks of an earlier time of simple form and durability. There are no pointless embellishments on this table: it is made to last and its simplicity gives it a real elegance without overwhelming a room. It is generously proportioned, and not only is it very practical, but it is also big enough for at least eight with ease.
The measurements are provided above, but you might like to know that the legroom under the table is a good 63cms (25"): plenty of rooms for knees. And no bar/runners means you can push chairs right in too, so they are tucked out of the way.
