Code: 3001ain
Dimensions:
A charming room screen, comprising four double-sided panels approx 36cms wide, each fully decorated with paper cut-outs under clear lacquer. This technique has been in use for many years, most famously in the Victorian era. This piece is difficult to date, but is probably later than that and dates from the first half of the 20thC.
It stands approx 167cms tall. It is a lovely piece, and visitors to the shop spend ages looking at it and 'reading' the images, just as you might a favourite book.
The price here excludes delivery simply because it is too big for standard mail and I would therefore need to quote directly to your address.
