A striking vintage 9ct gold garnet ring by the renowned British jeweller Asprey & Co, fully hallmarked for Birmingham,1977. This superb example of Asprey craftsmanship shows a rich, deep-red oval-cut garnet beautifully claw-set in a sculptural gold mount, its elegant split shoulders showcasing fine late 20th-century design.
A superb example of Asprey's top quality craftsmanship, this vintage gold ring is a really good example of British jewellery for collectors. It would make a wonderful gift of Christmas, and Garnet is the birthstone for January.
Size is O½, or 7½ US size. Internal diameter is a little under 18mm.
