A very good long guard chain in 9ct gold. Overall it measures 25", 63.5cms, and terminates in a good lobster claw clasp. It is marked for 9ct,a nd in excellent order throughout. Probably early 20thC, it would have been used perhaps to guard a fur stole, or maybe a muff. Now it makes a fantastic piece of jewellery, and probably a good investment too, given the way the gold price has been over the last decades.
