Privately sourced, this is a lovely example of a signet ring. It's size R (almost a 9 US size), and made from 9ct gold, so it will wear well. It also has the benefit of a plain panel so you can choose: keep it plain, or engrave. As I hope you can see in the pictures, it has deeply chased shoulders which merge the plain cartouche into the band ready well. It is a very nice ring indeed, fully hallmarked for 9ct gold (375) and with an assay mark for Chester dated 1932, and the maker is Tandy & Sons of Vyne St, Birmingham.
