An interesting ring in 9ct gold, with a good rosy tone. It is fully hallmarked with good clear, legible marks and so can be attributed to Percy Frederick Jackson. It was assayed in 1910.
The band is of a good width: 5mm at the narrowest, and it weighs more than 4g.
The engraving on the face of the ring, where it is some 8mm wide, is a floral design. Two bands of three 'flowers' with a design behind that appears to represent a crossover ring. Nice work, deep and even and in very good clear condition.
This is quite a large ring: UK size P, and US 7.75 with a diameter of approx 18mm and inner circumference of 56mm.
