A beautiful, small, gold Georgian pendant drop with pearls surrounding a paste topaz centre stone. The whole is set in a 9ct gold back, and the handwork shows very clearly in the settings for the pearls.
Topaz is for love, and pearl for purity, so the gift would have been to signify the giver's true love.
It measures about 16mm from top to bottom.
It is discreet and really gorgeous: delightful
