This is a rare piece: an exquisite antique swivel fob locket, a collector's treasure. Crafted in unmarked yellow gold, with metal hinge centres, the ornate twisted rope bale secures a dual-sided design. One side features deep red carnelian while the reverse, in bloodstone, reveals a hidden photo locket compartment. Currently it contains a very faded image behind glass of a man in uniform, which I have left in place. You can use it as a form for a photograph of your own and really personalise this beautiful 19thC piece .
Perfect as a pendant or watch chain accessory, this fob exemplifies fine 19th-century jewellery craftsmanship. A timeless, versatile investment piece for vintage enthusiasts.
