A relatively rare piece of Georg Jensen (1866-1935) silver.
A brooch formed as flower petals, featuring a deep royal blue centre formed from a polish lapis lazuli.
It bears the 1945 Jensen oval, silver, 'Denmark', and design number as well as a mark for GJ Ltd, the London branch of the Danish company, and London import marks and date. It also carries the pattern number 189.
It is secured at the back by a good strong pin, held by a locking barrel clasp. An overall excellent and rare piece, in first class condition.
