This is rare. So rare in fact I can't find another like it. Fully hallmarked, with some of the clearest marks I've seen on a (nearly) 100 year old piece, for Asprey London, and assayed in 1929, it is made from a really heavy gauge of silver. It is really strong and solid, able to mark your place in the heaviest book.
I really like the simple elegant design, and I was surprised to see it was as early as George V. Most Asprey bookmarks are much more complicated and twiddly than this stylish piece. It is surely a serious 'must have' for any bibliophile as well as silver collectors, Asprey fans and anyone who likes really good design. It would make a sophisticated addition to any collection.
