A round glass perfume or rose water bottle with glass stopper and hinged silver lid, hallmarked for Birmingham 1924. The piece is in good condition with just a small ding on the lid: shown in the images, which considering the age is remarkable. The lid closes well and firmly and the hinge is not flappy. When shut, the top stays shut.
The hallmarks show the age (Z for 1924) and the city assay mark for Birmingham. The makers mark is rubbed, but showing '&S' and that could possibly be Clark & Sewell.
