This 1922 Omega gunmetal* open face pocket watch, dated from the very clear serial number, is offered in full working order and keeping reliable time. Winding is daily.
This early 20th-century Omega timepiece features a clean white enamel dial with black Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds and ornate hands, all housed in a robust gunmetal case. It's a great watch, slim and elegant and with the added benefit of those easy-to-read Arabic numerals. Ideal for anyone looking for a pocket watch that won't ruin the line of their waistcoat, collectors of vintage Omega watches, antique pocket watches or period horological pieces. It is a rare example of a classic design, with enduring appeal.
The face of this 100+ year old watch is excellent. There is a very small mark just outside the number 10, but it is barely visible under normal conditions. On the glass there is a small bruise at about 8. Again, barely visible. There are also (expected) scratches around the opening tabs. The case remains extremely tight and probably requires a tool to gain access. Inside, the movement is clean as a whistle. Spotless
*The term gunmetal here might be better described as 'blueing', either term is commonly used in the context of these short run watches. Whichever it is, it provides the watch with extra protection against corrosion
