More is a soundtrack album for a film of the same name, and the third studio album by Pink Floyd. It is the first album without Syd Barrett, and his replacement was a chap you may have heard of: David Gilmour. This copy is the 1973 Harvest US release, known as the Los Angeles pressing.
The reception for the album was mixed, ranging from 'weird' to 'interesting'. So perhaps not on every collectors list? But this one will be.
Why?
Because it is signed by the band. All four of them, including the late lamented Rick Wright. It is signed in silver felt tip (slightly faded now) which is utterly typical, and complete with a Certificate of Authenticity (see images). This sets it far apart, and above, other copies of this album.
Condition: the sleeve is good, but it is a thin card sleeve and has begun to split along the top and bottom seams. The vinyl appears good, but I have not played the album (yet).
The vinyl has been cleaned and placed in an extra Audiophile premium anti-static sleeve which now sits within the original paper inner sleeve. The whole is now protected by a plastic album outer.
There can't be a serious Pink Floyd fan who would not love to own the signatures of the band, now sadly split, and very unlikely to ever perform together again, and obviously without Rick Wright who can never sign another album.
This hugely desirable and collectable album by the best line-up of the most influential band we are likely to see is available to view, listen to, and buy in the shop, or you can purchase it immediately using the 'Add to basket' button above
