An investment copy of this first UK release of the gatefold double album, re-releasing and combining Piper At The Gates of Dawn with A Saucerful of Secrets, in 1974, following the smash hit that was Dark Side.
One interesting fact about this version is that the cover had to be reprinted when an American Dentist complained that there were advertising his practice. The photo was of a practising dentistry and the real Dr Phang didn't like breaking the rules of his association: no advertising. Later copies have a monk in that position (top right).
This copy is in superb condition, and although I don't have the equipment any more to play it, the album, its cover and inner sleeve all look in excellent, or near mint condition. I'd say hardly played.
