This gorgeous Georg Jensen brooch is a silver and moonstone bangle with a classic minimalist Danish aesthetic. It was designed by Regitze Overgaard for the Sphere collection. The simple forms allow the cabochon moonstones to catch the light and give a subtle, almost ethereal, glow.
The bangle is fully hallmarked with the dotted oval logo, 925s for sterling silver purity, the design number 473 and M for medium. This is a good slip-on bangle, comfortable and suitable to wear alone or as part of a stack. It also comes with its original Georg Jensen box (see images), which adds that extra something when giving it as a gift or when it is to become part of a collection
Regitze Overgaard trained as a goldsmith in 1970. She believes that design should be as simple as possible with a focus on form and material: the power is in the metal.
